WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
If you have ordered a product on our Website, you have entered into a contract with AUX and we therefore process your personal data for the purpose of administering your purchase or order and to deliver the product you have ordered.
In addition to processing your personal data to fulfil the purchase of goods and services, AUX may use the personal data for other purposes, which are set out below. If any processing requires your consent, we will always explicitly ask you to provide such consent.
-
Fulfilment of contract: for the delivery of goods, to process payment and to give you access to the Website and the services provided by AUX therein (including customer service and newsletter subscription). Your personal data will also be processed in connection with purchases on behalf of (or due to the requirements of) payment and credit companies that need them for credit reporting purposes.
-
Fulfilling legal obligation: we keep invoice records in accordance with applicable accounting rules.
-
Legitimate interest: In order for AUX to provide, implement and improve its services to all customers, it is necessary for us to process personal data also in certain other cases, e.g. by analysing purchase history, sorting customers into segments to perform analyses on an aggregated level and for statistical purposes.
We also process personal data to improve AUX's payment solutions and processes. Personal data may then be combined with data from other registers, such as credit registers. You can read more about this in the section "Transfer of personal data".
AUX analyses customers' purchasing habits in order to provide them with relevant information and marketing.
-
Processors: we have contracts with processors who perform services on our behalf. These services include printing and distribution, delivery of goods, analysis of information and provision of search results and links, service and warranty obligations, insurance matters, data management and storage. They will have access to your personal data to the extent that they need it to perform their duties, but they may not use or share the information for any other purpose. AUX uses Google's advertising services. You can see more about Google's collection, sharing and use of personal data here.
-
Consent to processing: consent may be required for certain direct marketing (by post, email and SMS), customer surveys, etc., which are provided by changing preferences on my pages or making choices when registering.
Profiling: based on consent provided in connection with newsletters, we compile the information on their buying habits and interests that we collect in order to profile customers in different segments to provide relevant and customized information and marketing for AUX. AUX looks at the products you have purchased and the choices you have made while browsing our site to customize the look and feel of the store and the content of the marketing communications AUX sends to you to create a personalized shopping experience.
If any processing requires your consent, we will always explicitly ask you to give your consent to such processing and to us processing your personal data in such a case. For example, we ask for your consent if you wish to become a member of the AUX customer club and you always have the possibility to withdraw consent, for example through the cookie tool.
At the time you provide your consent, you will be asked to confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and that you consent to your data being processed in the manner described herein.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Such withdrawal may be limited to only part of the processing, for example that relating to direct marketing. Your personal data will not be processed for direct marketing purposes if you object to such processing.
STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
AUX takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed and stored securely. Your personal data will never be stored for longer than is permitted by applicable law or for the purposes set out above. Your personal data is processed by us for the following periods of time. Thereafter, the personal data will be deleted.
-
Member: If you have registered as a member of AUX's customer club, your personal data is stored until you deregister, but no later than three years after the last activity if AUX does not need the data for any other reason as described below.
-
Customer: if you have purchased a product on our Website, your personal data will be stored for two years after the purchase has been completed and/or any service or warranty commitment on our part has expired. This does not apply if we need to keep your personal data longer for any of the reasons below.
-
Communication: if you have contact with AUX, e.g. via e-mail with customer service, your personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to complete the contact.
-
Fulfillment of contract: Personal data (name, social security number, address, telephone number, e-mail and payment and delivery information) provided in connection with the ordering of goods and services is stored for as long as necessary for AUX or our Collaboration Partners to fulfill the contract with you. This includes processing to meet delivery or service commitments.
-
Legal obligation: the AUX saves such records that constitute accounting information according to the applicable accounting rules.
-
Consent: Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, we will only store your personal data for as long as we have your consent to do so.
-
Direct marketing: We may process your personal data for direct marketing purposes for up to two years after termination of the customer relationship, provided that you do not opt out of such direct marketing before then.
When AUX no longer has a reason to process your personal data or if you withdraw your consent, your personal data will be deleted.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Information about our customers is an important part of Linneverk's business and we do not sell this information to anyone else. We only transfer the information as described below. AUX always takes the utmost care when transferring your personal data.
-
Collaborative Partners: the Collaborative Partners with whom we work closely will have access to your personal data to the extent necessary for them to fulfil their obligations under the purchase to you. It is clearly stated when a Collaboration Partner is involved in your purchase.
-
Legal Obligations: we will share user accounts and personal data when we believe it is necessary for AUX to act in accordance with applicable law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property, AUX, our users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud prevention and credit risk reduction. Under no circumstances does this mean that AUX sells, rents or shares personal information of customers for commercial purposes in violation of this Privacy Policy.
-
Business Transactions: if all or part of AUX's business is sold or integrated with another business, your personal information may be disclosed to our advisors, any buyer and its advisors, and passed on to the new owners of the business.
Such transfers as set out above can only be made to companies within the EU or EEA (i.e. all EU Member States plus Iceland, Norway and Lichtenstein).
WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT
Where we process your personal data because you have given your consent to do so, for example in relation to direct marketing, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting customer service. Such withdrawal may be made in whole or in part. If you do not wish to receive marketing and promotional offers from us, you may withdraw your consent by contacting customer service or, in the case of direct marketing by e-mail, through a link in the relevant mailing. In the latter case, you will be able to click through the link and manage all your subscriptions to newsletters and other information and marketing that you receive by e-mail from or through AUX.
Customer club members and customers with registered accounts can log in to "My Pages" and manage their consents and subscription services.
If you withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your personal information for any other purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy, we may not be able to continue to provide you with access to our Sites or provide the services and customer support offered to our users and/or members that are permitted by this Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You have the right to request, free of charge, information about what personal data we have recorded about you and how it is used. If you would like such information, please contact us using the contact details below. To protect your privacy and personal data, we may require you to identify yourself in connection with our assistance.
AUX wants to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. Therefore, you can change your personal data at any time in My Pages if you are a member of our customer club or have a registered account, otherwise you are welcome to contact our customer service.
You may request at any time that we delete personal data relating to you or that we delete your user account on the Site. AUX will then delete the personal data in question if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed. AUX will also do this when you withdraw your consent to the processing.
Furthermore, you have the right to request that AUX restricts its processing of personal data in certain cases and you have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to request that the AUX transfers your personal data to another controller in electronic format.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Such withdrawal may be limited to only part of the processing, for example that relating to direct marketing. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data by Linneverk until you withdraw your consent.
You may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority if you believe that AUX's processing of your personal data is not in accordance with applicable law.
SAFETY
We are committed to keeping your personal data secure. To prevent unauthorised use or exposure of your personal data, we use appropriate and reasonable physical, technical and organisational security measures, commensurate with the amount and sensitivity of the personal data, to ensure an appropriate level of security.
AUX also uses, among other things, Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which is a protocol for the secure transmission of data over the Internet (or other networks). As a customer, you need to check that SSL is not turned off in your browser settings. In order to prevent unauthorised access when processing your payment or credit card number, one-way encryption is also used.
AUX may make use of personal data processors established outside the EU/EEA area. In these cases, AUX is responsible for ensuring that the personal data processor in question can guarantee an adequate level of protection in relation to the personal data being processed, either by the personal data processor being a party to the so-called Privacy Shield agreement or that an adequate level of protection is maintained in some other way. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for recipients of personal data in the United States that are covered by the Privacy Shield. Additional information can be obtained through our customer service department or our Data Protection Officer at the contact details below.
